The backbone attaches to your gear belt and allows you to mount up to 12 SSL clips on the belt. In keeping with our philosophy of ergonomic and adjustable equipment, yet another adaptable option for the loading of the shotgun using the TWinS method. The basic backbone does not have any clips. The number of SSL clips can be ordered in the drop down menu, 4 shells at a time.
We recommend the use of two Tek-Loks to attach the backstrap to a gear belt.
The NEW Quad Spacing Backbones will take up to 24 rounds and is 10.5" long. It is perfectly suitable for both TWinS or Quad loading from the same system. With 12 rounds, the Backbone can be spaced with a gap of approximaley 3/4" between the SSL clips.
