This mount for the RTS2 compact red dot optic features lightweight aluminum double sided construction, and pressed in stainless threaded inserts for maximum strength. In addition to the rigid flex-free design, the mount also features precision machined locating pins for an exact fit to the RTS2, just like the factory rail mount that comes with the scope. This means the scope will not move on the mount, and your zero will be maintained. The mount is super low on the slide and far back enough to clear hybrid barrel ports, making a blast shield un-necessary. The mount is available in a hard anodized black or silver finish. It comes with a complete mounting kit that includes proper length 6-40 mounting screws, spacers to fit standard width 1911/2011 discovers or STI Edge/Infinity IED dustcovers, and shorter M4 cap screws to install the optic to the mount. Direct fit on Infinity pistols. STI/SPS/1911 pistols will require 2 right side 6-40 threaded holes added in the standard C-more spacing. (.750" on center)
